Job summary

Stretch Zone is seeking a part-time Stretch Practitioner to provide excellent assisted stretching and top-tier customer service. You will help grow a loyal client base while maintaining a welcoming environment and following the company’s protocols.

The practitioner’s role is to provide the Stretch Zone client base with excellent customer service and effective assisted stretching techniques and to create a long-term customer loyalty-focused environment.

This mindset helps us provide the very best service and atmosphere for all our guests.

Currently, we are seeking PART-TIME Stretch Practitioners with weekend and mid-day/evening availability at our growing Mandeville location to help with extended store hours. We want energetic, wellness-minded stretch practitioners to join our team!

If selected, all new hires must pass a week of training where you will learn and test out on our modalities.

When you work as one of our certified stretch practitioners, you offer clients a comfortable, effective experience that boosts energy, enhances mental clarity, and improves overall wellness.

Essential duties and responsibilities

• Maintain a personal commitment to meeting the needs of customers
• Comply with the scheduling as directed by the Regional Manager, targeting a minimum of 25 sessions per week after training
• Always maintain a positive attitude when working with clients
• Dress professionally according to the current dress code highlighted in the company handbook.
• Contribute to the team environment
• Clock in and out as required in the handbook
• Other duties as assigned

• Must be able to efficiently service and maintain a client base

As a Stretch Zone Stretch Practitioner, you will also be expected to:

• Provide our client base with excellent customer service and effective assisted stretching techniques.
• Serve clients, as well as maintains and reinforces the culture of Stretch Zone in all activities. Our clients are given an individualized program that suits their specific needs.
• Keep clients on schedule with their programs.
• All team members clean and maintain the store.
• Partner with the management team and front desk staff to provide outstanding service and comfortable atmosphere for all clients.

Health, Wellness and Fitness Professionals Compensation

• $18/per hour base pay + performance based commission on first time client sessions resulting in a membership.

Compensation: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour

Most stretching methodologies try to wait out, overpower, trick, or ignore the stretch reflex. The proven way to increase performance and mobility is to work with the stretch reflex with the revolutionary techniques available through the Stretch Zone® Methodology (SZM). The SZM Practitioner identifies any postural and movement limitations, then trying to correct or mitigate them through specific applied stretching sessions. With a balanced system the customer will reach their true maximum potential, whether they are an professional athlete, weekend warrior, couch potato, or suffering from chronic pain or illness.

As a minimum prerequisite to SZM we recommend a personal training certification in ACE, NASM, ACSM, NSCA or NCSF and/or a license in therapeutic massage or other accredited body work.
