Job summary

HealthFitness, a Trustmark company, seeks an as-needed Strength & Conditioning Fitness Instructor for our client site in Washington, DC. You will lead fun, safe, and effective group workouts for members in a live setting.

The role requires ACE/AFAA/ACSM/NASM/NETA/NCCPT certification, CPR/AED, 2+ years of group exercise experience, and ability to navigate electronic onboarding and timecard systems. Compensation is $60–$70 per hour.

Qualifications

• Current group exercise instructor certification from ACE, AFAA/NASM, ACSM, NETA, NCCPT required.
• Adult CPR/AED certifications required within 30 days of hire.
• 2+ years group exercise instruction experience preferred.

About the role

HealthFitness is looking for an as-needed/substitute Strength & Conditioning Fitness Instructor (number of hours per week depends on demand and scheduling) to join the fitness team at our client site located in Washington, DC!

Responsible for providing fun, effective, and safe Strength & Conditioning group exercise to members.

Minimum Requirements

• Current group exercise instructor certification from ACE, AFAA/NASM, ACSM, NETA, NCCPT required.
• Adult CPR/AED certifications from American Heart Association, American Red Cross or American Safety & Health Institute required within 30 days of hire.
• 2+ years group exercise instruction experience strongly preferred.
• Ability to navigate electronic onboarding and timecard systems required.

The compensation range for this role is $60/hr - $70/hr. The final wage offer will be determined based on factors such as location, qualifications, experience, skill set, and other relevant factors.
