Job summary
D1 Training - St. Augustine is seeking a part-time Head Coach who is local to St. Augustine with meaningful sports experience.
You will coach athletes ages 7 and up, lead group workouts, personal training, and team sessions, and tailor programs to each athlete’s needs to help them reach their goals. The role emphasizes safety, high energy, and top-notch customer service, with opportunities for advancement and a performance-based bonus.
Qualifications
- AED/CPR/First Aid certification required.
- At least 1 year of strength & conditioning experience in group, team, or personal training setting.
- Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science or related field preferred.
Responsibilities
- Foster a positive, motivating environment for all athletes.
- Maximize client retention through best-in-class service: coaching, training, nutrition, and accountability.
- Modify and adapt movements that are best suited for the individual at hand.
- Reduce an athlete's risk of injury by focusing on proper technique and movement patterns.
- Coach group workouts, personal training, and teams.
- Deliver accurate, industry-leading educational advice on strength, speed, and nutrition.
