Job summary

D1 Training in St. Augustine is seeking a Part Time Head Coach to foster a positive, high-energy environment for athletes aged 7 and up. The coach will deliver coaching, training, nutrition guidance, and accountability to maximize client retention and performance.

Must be local to St. Augustine with meaningful sports background. The role focuses on safety, technique, and customized progression across youth, scholastic, and adult athletes within our D1 training philosophy.

Qualifications

• Has a valid AED/CPR/First Aid certification.
• Has at least one NCCA-accredited certification.
• Minimum of 1 year of strength & conditioning-related experience in group, team, or personal training setting.

Responsibilities

• Foster a positive, motivating environment for all athletes.
• Maximize client retention through best-in-class service: coaching, training, nutrition, and accountability.
• Modify and adapt movements that are best suited for the individual at hand.
• Reduce an athlete's risk of injury by focusing on proper technique and movement patterns.

Skills

AED/CPR/First Aid certification

NCCA-certified certification

1 year strength & conditioning exp.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science or related field
