Young World Physical Education is looking for a full-time Strength and Conditioning Coach to be based at Spartanburg School District 5, James F. Byrnes High School in Duncan, South Carolina. This role involves designing and supervising strength training and conditioning programs for all sports and teaching specialized classes.

POSITION: Strength and Conditioning Coach
REPORTS TO: Athletic Director/Building Principal
To assume the responsibility and obligation of establishing and maintaining a strength and conditioning program for all sports.
Ability to demonstrate the appropriate skills and techniques athletes need to participate in their particular sport(s) is preferred. Sitting, standing, lifting and carrying (up to 50 pounds), reaching, squatting, climbing stairs, kneeling, and moving equipment/boxes up to 50 lbs. Must be able to work within various degrees of noise, temperature, and air quality. Work surfaces will vary from concrete to grass to hardwood floors. Job responsibilities require both inside and outside assignments. Interruptions of work are routine. Flexibility and patience are required. Must be self‑motivated and able to complete job assignments without direct supervision. After‑hours work may be required. Must be able to work under stressful conditions.
