Job summary

The Woodlands Township is seeking a Park Ranger for Streetscapes maintenance and related duties across parks, pathways, lakes and community grounds. The role includes mowing, edging, pruning, planting, debris removal and equipment operation, with occasional evening or weekend events.

The position requires reading maps, operating common tools, and joining emergency response teams when called. It is a safety-sensitive, outdoor role with varying weather conditions and physical demands.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and understand maps and routing information.
• Experience with standard landscape maintenance equipment and safe operation.

Responsibilities

• Maintain streetscapes, parks, grounds and recreation facilities including mowing, edging, fertilizing, seeding, pruning and weed control.
• Paint, repair and refurbish fixtures, signs and equipment as needed.
• Operate and maintain landscape machinery and power tools.
• Gather and dispose of debris and manage trash/Litter in Right-of-Way areas as assigned.
• Respond to emergencies and participate in emergency response teams.
