Job summary

Transdev in Milwaukee, WI seeks an experienced supervisor to ensure safe, reliable Streetcar operations and top-tier customer service. The role involves coordinating shifts, managing incidents, and guiding field staff in daily tasks for on-site operations.

Starting pay is $27.00 per hour under the collective bargaining agreement, with comprehensive benefits after eligibility. Applicants must meet DOT requirements and be prepared to operate Streetcar in revenue service when needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 21 years old.
• Valid state license.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Able to work shifts or flexible schedules.
• DOT drug testing and physical may apply; DOT 49 CFR Part 40.
• 2–4 years of transit supervisor or dispatcher experience.

Responsibilities

• Respond to changing Streetcar coverage needs, including emergencies, replacement and detours.
• Assist and schedule shifts, routes, special runs, and services.
• Coordinate with internal departments on incidents, weather, detours, and schedule changes.
• Coordinate and direct extra service and special events as assigned.
• Accurately record events in systems and notify upper management of issues.
• Direct and supervise Streetcar status to ensure employee safety and operations.
• Provide guidance and training on procedures and protocols for Streetcar staff.
