Job summary

Transdev North America, Inc. in Milwaukee, WI seeks an experienced Supervisor to oversee Streetcar operations and shift coverage. The role includes coordinating incidents, scheduling, safety compliance, and training fellow staff, with potential to operate Streetcar in revenue service.

The position is covered under a Collective Bargaining Agreement with starting pay of $27.00 per hour, offering vacation, sick leave, comprehensive benefits and a path to career advancement within transit operations.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years or older.
• Valid state driver license.
• Two to four years' related work experience as a Transit Supervisor.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Subject to DOT drug testing and physical where applicable.
• Must be able to work shifts or flexible schedules.

Responsibilities

• Responds to changing needs of Streetcar operations, including emergencies, vehicle replacement and detours.
• Assists and schedules for appropriate shifts, routes, special runs, and services as necessary.
• Coordinates with internal departments and other entities regarding incidents, road conditions and schedule changes.
• Directs extra service, special events and other projects as assigned.
• Accurately records events and activities in approved systems.
• Notifies upper management of operational problems and coordinates resolutions.
• Directs Streetcar status to ensure safety of staff and public.
