The City of Missouri City is seeking three dependable Street Tech II to support maintenance of streets and drainage infrastructure in the Public Works Department. This full-time role reports to the Streets Superintendent and involves hands-on work with heavy equipment and roadway repairs in Missouri City, TX.

Responsibilities include patching potholes, maintaining drainage systems, assisting with traffic signals, and supporting emergency response efforts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year of relevant professional experience.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience operating heavy equipment.
• CDL Class B preferred.

Responsabilités

• Repair concrete pavement, patch potholes, lay asphalt, repair ramps and curbs, saw cutting and mud jacking, construct and repair inlet tops and aprons, and set forms.
• Operate, maintain heavy equipment including street sweepers and bulldozers, and maintain light equipment like jackhammers and chainsaws.
• Sweep streets and intersections, support traffic signal repairs and traffic sign installations, and coordinate with other departments during maintenance.
• Assist during emergencies and natural disasters; participate in recall and safety procedures.
