Job summary

Sweeping Corporation of America in Beaumont, TX is hiring a Day Street Sweeper (Non-CDL) for the first shift. You will drive a street sweeper, operate specialized equipment, and maintain streets as part of a safety- and service-focused team.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver's license, and the ability to pass a motor vehicle record check and drug screening. Minimum 21 years old with DOT driving experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; 1 year DOT driving experience preferred.
• Must have valid Driver’s License and be at least 21 years old.
• Pass motor vehicle record, background check, and drug screening per policy.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of assigned routes and drive the street sweeper to keep streets clean.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections; ensure safety features are functional.
• Operate equipment safely and follow traffic laws and site protocols.
• Accurately complete logs, manifests, and forms as required.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors; report issues promptly.
• Maintain regular and predictable attendance and adapt to schedule changes.
