Safe Horizon is seeking a dedicated professional to provide trauma-informed, client-centered services to homeless and street-involved youth in New York. The role includes intake, assessment, triage counseling, harm-reduction based interventions, crisis management, and advocacy with city agencies.

Responsibilities cover case management, group facilitation, and collaboration with internal and external service providers to secure housing, shelter options, and essential resources for clients.

Formación

• Experience in a social services setting.
• Personal street survival experience and understanding of its link to professional standards.

Responsabilidades

• Learn and integrate a trauma-informed, client-centered approach.
• Intake and assessment for individuals seeking assistance.
• Crisis intervention and individual counseling.
• Advocacy for public assistance and entitlements with city agencies.
• Street outreach to homeless youth and escort to services.
• Maintain case records and prepare monthly/ quarterly reports.
