Job summary

The Project Administrator position at USC Street Medicine Workforce Development and Education supports daily operations to advance a sustainable street medicine workforce in California and beyond. Reporting to the Director of Workforce Development and Education, you will manage funding, deliverables, reports, and interactions with current and future funders.

This full-time role based at the Los Angeles campus requires on-campus presence several days per week, with travel and occasional weekend

Qualifications

• Master’s degree required and minimum education/experience as substitute.
• Minimum of 3 years combined education and experience, relevant to project administration.
• Doctorate preferred for higher level responsibilities and research coordination.

Responsibilities

• Assists principal investigator with formulating research objectives.
• Administers and supports team planning, organization and scheduling activities.
• Develops and implements operating policies, procedures and systems for planned operations.
• Develops and administers project budgets and expenditures; tracks compliance.
• Interacts with funding agencies to exchange information and build rapport for funding opportunities.
• Coordinates and links project operations with other administrative and research functions on and off campus.
