The City of St. Pete Beach is seeking a skilled street maintenance supervisor to lead field crews in operation, maintenance, and repair of streets, alleys, rights-of-way, traffic signage, and pavement markings, ensuring safety and high levels of customer service.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalent; CDL required or obtainable.
• Apprenticeship or technical training preferred.
• CDL valid in Florida and First-aid/CPR certifications required.
• Ability to obtain TTC/Temporary Traffic Control certification and CPWP-S within specified timeframes.

Responsabilidades

• Act as crew chief, supervising skilled roadway and right-of-way maintenance work.
• Plan and coordinate daily street staff activities, oversee pothole repair and utility work.
• Direct installation, repair, and inventory of traffic signs and pavement markings.
• Oversee temporary traffic control in work zones to protect crews and the public.
• Assign work orders, track staff time, and assist payroll; draft division reports.
• Provide technical guidance on roadway maintenance practices and coordinate with contractors.
