The City of Richland is seeking a Street Maintenance worker to perform semi-skilled construction and maintenance of streets, sidewalks, and railroad facilities. Requires after-hours/on-call rotations and a valid Class A CDL with tanker endorsement.

Union-covered position with strong safety requirements and diverse duties across heavy equipment operation, sign work, pavement marking, and concrete tasks in all weather conditions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CDL with tanker endorsement required by hire date.
• Flagger’s Card required by hire date; ATSSA/APWA certifications within time frames.

Responsabilités

• Operates concrete/asphalt saws and grinders and related power tools.
• Performs street maintenance tasks with hand tools and equipment.
• Sets up traffic controls and performs flagging in work zones.
• Assists with signs, striping, and concrete work as needed.
