Blue Origin Seattle is seeking a Strategy Senior Manager to lead growth-strategy development and market assessments for spaceflight systems. You will drive market research, build business cases, and shape investment decisions while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

You will represent the company at events and customer meetings, influence product strategy, and mentor teams in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in business, engineering, government, or related field.
• 7+ years of management consulting, corporate strategy, or equivalent experience.
• Understanding of national security space industry's customer and competitor dynamics.
• Detailed market research, data analysis, and quantitative economic/financial modeling.
• Comfort applying analytical business frameworks to ambiguous problems.
• Experience in strategy formulation, consulting, product development, or investing.
• Excellent written and verbal executive communication skills.
• Able to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.

As part of a hardworking team of strategists, you will help build strategic focus and drive company growth for various spaceflight systems. You will identify promising growth initiatives through market assessments and develop plans to ensure their successful execution.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Lead market research assessments and conduct detailed data analysis to guide investment decisions and product design.
• Develop business cases, estimates for market sizing, and pricing strategy for existing and new products.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in business, engineering, government, or related field.
• A minimum of 7 years of management consulting, corporate strategy experience or a combination of management consulting and additional strategy work experience.
• Proven understanding of the national security space industry's customer and competitor dynamics.
• Detailed market research, data analysis, and quantitative economic and financial modeling experience.
• Comfort applying analytical business frameworks to address ambiguous problems.
• Experience in strategy formulation, to include consulting, product development, or investing.
• Excellent written and verbal executive communication skills.
• Comfort in a fast-paced environment, working on multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining excellent attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Active government security clearance TS/SCI.
• Familiarity with U.S. budgeting, appropriations, and contracting processes particularly for government space agencies (i.e., Space Systems Command, Space Development Agency, Defense Innovation Unit, Air Force Research Laboratory).
• Experience maturing sophisticated technical products from initial formulation concept through to successful customer sales.
• Experience driving end-to-end inorganic growth strategy from identifying an acquisition target through due diligence, valuation, and successful integration.

Base Pay Range for:

VA applicants is $145,188.00 - $203,263.20 WA applicants is $145,188.00 - $203,263.20 Other site ranges may differ
