Job description

About the role

We are building a small, high-impact Strategy & Operations team within the CEO / COO Office to solve some of the most important and ambiguous problems across the business.

We are looking for someone who combines strong problem-solving skills with a bias for execution. You will take problems where the answer is not obvious, get deep into the data and how the business actually works, identify the root cause, quantify the impact, develop a solution and drive it through implementation.

The problems will vary significantly: cost leakage, vendor economics, payments, financial processes, operational inefficiencies, systems, commercial questions and other areas where we believe the business can work better.

This is not a project management, coordination or reporting role. You will own problems end-to-end and will be expected to work independently with limited direction.

We are particularly interested in people who have developed this skill set either in top-tier strategy consulting (e.g. McKinsey, BCG, Bain), in a strong analytical role at a high-growth technology company, or ideally through a combination of both.

A significant part of the role will also be using Claude and other AI tools as a force multiplier. We are looking for someone who is already an advanced AI user and can build repeatable workflows, automate analysis and turn manual work into scalable processes.

Responsibilities
  • Take ownership of ambiguous business problems and structure them into clear hypotheses, analyses and actions
  • Dive into data and underlying processes to identify root causes rather than treating symptoms
  • Quantify financial and operational impact and assess potential solutions
  • Run deep dives across areas such as vendor spend, payments, banking, market data, subscriptions, financial processes and internal operations
  • Build practical models, analyses and decision-support tools from imperfect or incomplete data
  • Work directly with Finance, Product, Engineering and other teams to understand how things actually work and implement improvements
  • Develop recommendations and make clear decisions on trade-offs, rather than simply presenting analysis
  • Drive initiatives through implementation and measure whether the expected impact was delivered
  • Use Claude and other AI tools extensively to accelerate research, analysis and execution
  • Build AI-powered workflows and automations that eliminate recurring manual work and make solutions scalable
  • Present findings and recommendations clearly to senior leadership
What makes you the perfect fit
Problem solving & analytical ability
  • 5+ years of experience in a highly analytical environment, ideally including top-tier strategy consulting (McKinsey, BCG, Bain or equivalent) and/or a strong analytical role in a high-growth technology company
  • Exceptional structured problem-solving skills and ability to turn an ambiguous question into a clear approach
  • Strong quantitative and financial analysis skills
  • Excellent Excel / Google Sheets skills and ability to work with messy or incomplete data
  • Strong business judgment: able to identify what actually matters and focus on the highest-impact opportunities
  • Comfortable going deep into unfamiliar areas and learning quickly
Execution
  • Strong ownership mindset: you do not stop at the recommendation; you drive the solution through implementation
  • Comfortable working independently with limited direction
  • Able to work cross-functionally with senior stakeholders as well as operational teams
  • Clear and concise communication, both written and verbal
  • Experience working directly with founders or senior executives
AI & automation
  • Advanced user of Claude or similar AI tools, well beyond basic prompting and summarisation
  • Demonstrated ability to use AI to improve how you work: research, data analysis, modelling, documentation, decision-making and execution
  • Able to design and build repeatable AI-powered workflows and automations
  • Strong curiosity about new AI capabilities and a willingness to continuously improve your own operating system
  • Technical skills are not required, but the ability to work with tools, APIs, spreadsheets, scripts or automation platforms is a strong advantage
Will be a plus
  • Experience in both top-tier consulting and a high-growth technology company
  • Experience with payments, procurement, vendor management, SaaS, ERP or financial systems
  • Experience building automations or AI-powered workflows
  • Experience in fintech, marketplaces or other complex technology businesses
What we offer you
  • Flexible working hours and a hybrid work format (4 days in the office, 1 day remotely)
  • Well-equipped offices for focused and collaborative work
  • A global, distributed team of 600+ professionals
  • Learning, mentorship, and long-term career growth
  • Performance-based bonuses
  • TradingView Premium access
  • Regular team events and company-wide meetups
