The ideal candidate is highly self-directed, thrives in ambiguity, and brings deep experience in strategy, marketing, business operations, and executive stakeholder management. They are equally comfortable conducting rigorous analysis, developing executive-level narratives, leading cross-functional initiatives, and influencing senior leaders.

What You'll Do

Strategic Planning & Investment Management

  • Drive annual and quarterly strategic planning processes across Global Marketing, partnering with leadership to define priorities, roadmap, investment allocations, and success metrics.

  • Develop business cases and investment scenarios to optimize marketing resource allocation and maximize growth impact.

  • Evaluate portfolio and market opportunities, recommending strategic shifts based on business performance, market dynamics, and organizational priorities.

  • Partner with Finance and Marketing leadership to establish planning frameworks that balance growth ambitions with operational discipline.

Growth Strategy & Business Performance

  • Analyze marketing performance, business trends, customer insights, and market opportunities to identify growth levers and strategic recommendations.

  • Develop executive-ready analyses and recommendations to improve marketing effectiveness, ROI, and organizational efficiency.

  • Monitor industry trends, competitive developments, and emerging opportunities to proactively identify risks and areas for investment.

  • Build frameworks that enable the organization to do more with less through prioritization, resource optimization, and scalable operating models.

Executive Communications & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Own executive engagement strategies and partner with internal and external stakeholders to develop clear, compelling narratives around marketing strategy and business priorities.

  • Lead development of executive presentations, leadership reviews, board-level materials, strategic memos, and organizational communications.

  • Translate complex analyses into concise recommendations that influence decision-making at the highest levels of the organization.

  • Serve as a key liaison between Marketing leadership and cross-functional partners across the business.

Strategic Initiatives

  • Lead complex cross-functional projects that advance marketing and business priorities, from problem definition through implementation and impact measurement.

  • Partner closely with Operations, Data Science, Finance, Product, Regional teams, and other stakeholders to solve critical business challenges.

  • Establish operating mechanisms, governance processes, and performance management frameworks that improve organizational effectiveness.

  • Drive initiatives that increase operational rigor, simplify decision-making, and improve execution across the marketing organization.

Leadership Partnership

  • Act as a strategic thought partner and advisor to Marketing leadership on key business decisions, organizational priorities, and emerging opportunities.

  • Identify and advocate for high-priority initiatives that support both marketing objectives and broader company growth goals.

  • Support leadership in navigating ambiguity, aligning stakeholders, and driving execution against strategic objectives.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, Finance, or a related field.

  • 8+ years of experience in Strategy, Marketing Strategy, Business Operations, Management Consulting, Corporate Strategy, or related functions.

  • Experience supporting senior executives or marketing organizations in a Strategy & Operations, Chief of Staff, or equivalent strategic leadership capacity.

  • Exceptional analytical and structured problem-solving skills with experience synthesizing large, complex datasets into actionable recommendations.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including extensive experience developing executive-level communications and presentations.

  • Demonstrated track record leading complex, cross-functional initiatives in fast-paced and highly ambiguous environments.

  • Strong stakeholder management and influence skills across multiple organizational levels.

  • MBA or equivalent advanced degree.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience within high-growth technology, marketplace, consumer, or digital marketing organizations.

  • Deep understanding of marketing strategy, growth levers, customer acquisition, brand investment, and performance measurement.

  • Experience leading annual planning, investment allocation, and organizational transformation efforts.

  • Proven ability to influence senior executives and drive alignment across diverse stakeholder groups.

  • Experience partnering with Finance, Data Science, Operations, and Product teams to solve strategic business challenges.
