Job summary

Akamai Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Strategy & Operations Analyst II to join the Business Operations, Data & Analytics team.

You will partner with Network Infrastructure and Colocation to gather metrics, build data pipelines, and automate reporting to enable self-serve insights across CTG. You will translate complex data into dashboards (Tableau) and communicate findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, leveraging SQL, Excel/Sheets, and cloud warehouses like Snowflake,

Qualifications

5 years of relevant experience in business intelligence, data engineering, or data analytics and a Bachelor's degree or its equivalent.
Solid working knowledge of SQL with experience querying and analyzing large datasets.
Proficient in Excel and/or Google Sheets for basic analysis and QA tasks and have experience with data and system integrations.
Knowledgeable about creating dashboards in data visualization tools, like Tableau.
Experience using AI Developer tools, like Copilot or Claude, in day-to-day operations.
Demonstrate solid communication skills to translate requirements and share findings with stakeholders.
Experience with cloud data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift) or willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

Collaborating with Network Infrastructure and Colocation teams to gather requirements and understand key business metrics
Automating reporting and enabling self-serve functionalities to provide visibility into key metrics
Assisting in building and maintaining data pipelines and models to support analytics use cases
Writing queries and combining data from various sources
Communicating insights to stakeholders through visualizations and reports
