Job summary

TAL is seeking a Strategy Manager to shape and deliver strategic priorities that drive growth and protect a 150-year legacy. You will work with the Strategy team and senior stakeholders to identify opportunities, manage risks, and lead initiatives that strengthen TAL's competitive position.

You will partner with executives and business managers to translate complex data into clear messages for the Board and leadership, supporting the company’s purpose to help Australians when they need us most.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in business, commerce, engineering or related field.
• MBA preferred.
• 3+ years in strategy consulting or corporate strategy in financial services.
• Excellent written and presentation skills for senior audiences.
• Strong analytical and Excel abilities.
• Experience in life insurance, superannuation, financial services and tech is valued.

Responsibilities

• Co-develop and refine TAL's corporate strategy to align with long-term goals.
• Lead annual strategic planning with Executives and the Board.
• Conduct market analysis, benchmarking and trend assessment.
• Build complex models to support strategic projects and extract insights from data.
• Collaborate with Executives, Senior Leaders and partners on strategy topics.
