Job summary

TAL is one of Australia’s leading life insurers, inviting applications from experienced risk professionals to strengthen financial risk management and governance. You will work with stakeholders across the business to deliver sound risk decisions and resilient outcomes.

In this role, you will contribute to TAL’s Risk Appetite, support the ICAAP framework, and lead stress testing efforts to ensure robust risk governance and customer protection.

Qualifications

Tertiary qualification in business, risk, finance or actuarial disciplines.
At least 3+ years of experience within financial services, risk management, insurance, banking or related industry.

Responsibilities

Provide trusted risk and compliance guidance to strengthen financial risk management across the business.
Contribute to the ongoing development and enhancement of TAL’s Risk Appetite Statement.
Collaborate with Capital teams to support and evolve TAL’s ICAAP framework.
Lead the coordination and delivery of stress testing scenarios to strengthen business resilience.
Build strong stakeholder partnerships to embed risk awareness and promote effective risk management practices.
