Eastman, a global materials company headquartered in Kingsport, TN, seeks a Strategy Manager to lead deep-dive strategic projects and long-range planning. You will partner with senior leaders to translate strategy into actionable execution, build commercial capability, and evolve business strategies across multiple markets.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Chemistry, Marketing, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of five years of progressively responsible experience in corporate strategy, strategic planning, management consulting, business development, finance, or a related field.
• Experience independently leading complex, cross-functional strategy engagements from problem definition to recommendations and execution.

Responsibilities

• Translate strategy into execution by defining priorities, roadmaps, milestones, accountabilities, resource needs, and success measures.
• Facilitate implementation of strategic initiatives across businesses, identifying barriers and helping leaders resolve issues affecting objectives.
• Track and monitor impact using financial, operational, commercial, market, customer, and strategic performance metrics and adjust directions as needed.
• Establish and maintain processes for strategy reviews, performance monitoring, and communication of progress to leadership.
• Serve as strategy leader on business leadership teams, guiding execution of business strategy where applicable.
• Connect strategy to commercial priorities—customer value, market choices, portfolio priorities, pricing, profitability, and growth plans.
• Lead strategy and commercial capability-building through training, coaching, and mentoring of teams.
• Collaborate with Corporate Strategy Management on resource planning, capability development, and deploying strategy team members.
• Contribute to development of Corporate Strategy tools, processes, and performance-monitoring approaches.
