Job description

We are a fast-growing, private equity-backed company in the health, wellness, and consumer services sector. Since our founding in 2011, we have expanded our presence to 35 states.

We provide our partners with turnkey support across operations, recruiting, finance, marketing, technology, and development—giving them the resources and expertise they need to focus on serving their customers and growing their businesses.

The Opportunity

We are seeking a Manager of Strategy & Operations/Value Creation to join our team, reporting directly to the Vice President of Strategy. In this highly visible role, you will identify and lead initiatives that create measurable value across the organization. Working closely with operational leaders, corporate teams, and senior executives, you will translate strategic priorities into practical solutions and sustainable results.

You will also contribute to enterprise-wide strategic planning, board engagement, leadership workshops, and other high-impact initiatives. This is an opportunity to solve a wide range of business challenges, influence important decisions, and make a meaningful impact in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

What You’ll Do

  • Identify, evaluate, and lead strategic initiatives that improve performance, accelerate growth, and create enterprise value.
  • Turn complex business challenges and data into clear insights, actionable recommendations, and practical implementation plans.
  • Partner with operational and corporate teams to move high-priority initiatives from concept through execution.
  • Define success metrics, monitor performance, and refine initiatives based on results and stakeholder feedback.
  • Support enterprise-wide strategic planning, board preparation and engagement, leadership workshops, and other high-visibility activities.
  • Communicate recommendations, decisions, and progress clearly to senior executives and stakeholders across the organization.
  • Build trusted relationships and influence outcomes without relying on formal authority.
  • Take ownership of emerging priorities and other projects critical to the company’s continued growth.

What We’re Looking For

You have a demonstrated record of success in professional services, operations, or another fast-paced, dynamic environment. You are energized by unfamiliar challenges, comfortable moving between strategy and execution, and skilled at creating structure in ambiguous situations.

You combine analytical rigor with sound business judgment, communicate clearly, and know how to turn ideas into measurable results. You are equally comfortable developing a recommendation, aligning stakeholders, and rolling up your sleeves to help execute it.

What You’ll Bring

  • A bachelor’s degree with 3+ years of professional experience in management consulting or high growth startup; an MBA is a plus.
  • Experience in healthcare or multi-site operations is valued but not required.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency with Excel and AI-enabled tools to turn raw data into actionable insights.
  • A structured, hypothesis-driven approach to problem-solving, including iterative testing and performance measurement.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messages to different audiences across the organization.
  • Demonstrated success collaborating across functions and influencing without formal authority.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • A collaborative, low-ego approach and a natural ability to build trust with operational and corporate teams.
  • A strong sense of ownership, personal accountability, and bias toward action.
  • The ability to take the work seriously without taking yourself too seriously.
