Job summary

Deloitte’s Financial Services Strategy team is seeking a Manager to deliver high-impact strategy analyses for banking, insurance and payments clients. You will lead workstreams, mentor juniors, and collaborate across Risk, Technology, Operations, and M&A to drive transformational outcomes.

You’ll build evidence-based recommendations, engage senior stakeholders, and contribute to business development while travelling as needed to client sites.

Qualifications

• Proven direct experience of strategy consulting within a consulting firm or in-house strategy role.
• Proven experience in Banking, Insurance and/or Payments with desire to build a career in these areas.
• Strong written and verbal communication with good judgement for senior stakeholders.
• Excellent time management to juggle client service, practice development and business development.
• Flexibility to travel.
• Experience in proposition design and delivery.
• Experience in marketing or customer strategy.

Responsibilities

• Execute rigorous and insightful analysis to build an evidence base for strategy development, including use of approved AI tools.
• Master strategy toolkit and frameworks to solve client problems and share best practices.
• Independently lead a workstream or small project, mentoring junior colleagues for delivery.
• Manage client relationships and liaise with Deloitte colleagues to deliver a seamless experience.
• Proactively develop skills, seek feedback, and share insights with colleagues.
• Support development of the Financial Services Strategy community and business development with clients.
