Job summary

BDO USA, LLP is seeking an Entry Level Business Analyst in the Management Consulting group in the United States. The role involves assisting with planning, execution, and close-out of engagements, developing initial deliverables, and supporting client meetings and documentation.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree (Finance/Accounting/Economics/MIS/Industrial Engineering preferred), basic Power BI/data analytics experience, and strong written and verbal communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required
• Bachelor's degree with a focus in Finance, Accounting, Economics, MIS, or Industrial Engineering preferred
• Six months or more IT/tech-related analyst/coordination experience preferred
• Data analytics dashboarding experience with Power BI or similar tool preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Responsibilities

• Obtain information and data from clients to support deliverables
• Develop initial deliverables and solutions
• Document project requirements with guidance
• Assist with client meetings and summaries
• Document and analyze client processes with senior guidance
• Perform project management and admin tasks
• Support development of quality documentation
• Prepare meeting agendas, handouts, and presentations
• Draft proposals and maintain engagement documents
• Utilize templates for reports and presentations
• Participate in special client projects
• Use research tools to understand client industries
• Build relationships with client personnel
• Travel up to 50% as needed
• Maintain all engagement documentation
