Job summary

BDO USA, LLP is seeking a senior analytics professional to lead teams, design and implement innovative analytics solutions for audit engagements, and advance the firm’s technology-enabled workflows. The role emphasizes collaboration across practice groups and a fast-paced environment.

The successful candidate will have 7+ years in accounting/finance, supervisory and project management experience, CPA license, and strong data visualization skills using Power BI, with SQL and Power Query knowledge.

Qualifications

• Seven or more years of accounting or finance experience.
• Prior supervisory experience.
• Prior project management experience.
• Certified Information Systems Analyst certification preferred.
• CPA license required.
• Working knowledge of Power BI and data visualization.

Responsibilities

• Leads and develops a growing analytics and automation team.
• Manages analytics projects and workflows with increasing levels of complexity.
• Applies knowledge of financial data to analytics routines.
• Develops and deploys data analytics techniques and templates to improve audit quality and engagement efficiency.
• Ensures visualizations are easy to use and provide value to engagement teams and clients.
• Supports proposal activity and defends current clients with data analytics and innovation.
