Job summary

Humana's Differentiation Team within the Consumer Strategy organization seeks a Strategy Advancement Advisor to shape and execute differentiated experiences for Humana's members. You will blend strategic thinking with execution, partnering across Product, Operations, Marketing, Digital, Data & Analytics, and Experience Design to pilot and scale innovative concepts.

This remote-friendly role requires 7+ years in strategic work, prior healthcare or consulting experience, MBA preferred.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of full-time relevant strategic work experience, ideally post-MBA.
• Previous strategy experience in a healthcare or management consulting organization.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management, including credibility with senior leaders and influence across the enterprise.
• Experience leading complex, strategic initiatives in a large matrixed organization.
• Superior problem-solving skills with qualitative and quantitative analyses.
• Experience leveraging consumer insights to design and implement new products/services/solutions.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication for executive-level presentations.
• Highly collaborative, adaptable, and able to lead through ambiguity.

Responsibilities

• Support development of consumer-centered growth and differentiation strategies with a 12–24 month horizon.
• Identify emerging market trends, competitive dynamics, consumer needs, and industry innovation opportunities.
• Partner with business leaders to frame problems, generate innovative solutions, and build compelling business cases.
• Collaborate with design, research, and operational teams to embed member needs in strategic priorities.
• Serve as a thought partner for exploration and evaluation of new concepts, experiences, capabilities, and business models.
• Build business cases to conduct ROI analysis and prioritize proposed initiatives.
• Lead workstreams for strategic initiatives and innovation pilots from concept development through implementation.
• Develop pilot plans, success metrics, learning agendas, and implementation roadmaps for rapid testing.
