Job summary

Humana’s Differentiation Team within Consumer Strategy is seeking a Strategy Advancement Advisor to shape and execute differentiated member experiences. You’ll blend strategy with execution, leading cross-functional teams to pilot, refine, and scale innovative concepts while aligning with enterprise priorities and ROI expectations.

The role emphasizes collaboration, consumer insight use, and translating ideas into measurable business impact, with remote work options and occasional travel.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of full-time strategic work experience, ideally post-MBA
• Strategy experience in healthcare or management consulting
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management with senior leaders
• Experience leading complex, strategic initiatives in a large matrixed organization
• Superior problem-solving and quantitative/qualitative analysis
• Experience leveraging consumer insights to design new products/services
• Excellent verbal and written communication at executive level

Responsibilities

• Develop consumer-centered growth and differentiation strategies with 12-24 month horizon
• Identify market trends, competitive dynamics, consumer needs, and industry opportunities
• Frame ambiguous problems and build business cases for investment
• Collaborate with design, research, operations to embed member needs
• Lead exploration and evaluation of new concepts, experiences, business models
• Build business cases, ROI analyses, and prioritization of initiatives
• Lead workstreams for strategic initiatives and pilots through implementation
• Develop pilot plans, metrics, and learning agendas for rapid testing
• Translate pilot learnings into actionable scaling recommendations
• Communicate with executive stakeholders and drive alignment across functions
