Job summary

Koto is seeking a Senior Strategy professional to lead strategic thinking on active projects in New York. You will own development and execution of strategy, collaborate closely with Design, and drive a distinctive brand experience across global clients with a rationally optimistic mindset.

You will partner with senior leadership, guide junior team members, and have a hands‑on role from brief to delivery, including in‑person studio work in New York and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience leading brand strategy for client initiatives and translating insights into creative opportunities.
• Ability to manage multiple live projects with accountability from brief to delivery.
• Excellent client-facing presence and compelling presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, refine, and deliver standout brand strategies that distill client business, audience, and culture into clear opportunities.
• Own multiple live projects, guide junior strategists, and manage scope, calendars, and expectations.
• Lead client conversations with confidence, read the room, and build conviction around strategic direction.
• Become a trusted advisor, understand client business goals, and identify opportunities beyond the brief.
