Chief Noise Maker @ EDMO | AI Driven Student Enrollment Ecosystem for Higher Education
About Edmo
At Edmo, we’re redefining how universities attract, evaluate, and admit students. Our AI-driven platform combines Document Intelligence, Conversation Intelligence, and Human Intelligence to help higher-ed institutions move faster, work smarter, and deliver better student experiences.
We’re the preferred Salesforce partner for Higher Education, working with major universities in the country
About the Role
We’re looking for a Strategy & Communications Director to work closely with our CEO and leadership team on storytelling, investor relations, and strategic initiatives that drive Edmo’s growth. You’ll play a key role in shaping how the world perceived Edmo — from our brand narrative and partnerships to our internal alignment and executive communication.
This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who’s equal parts strategic thinker, creative communicator, and operational executor.
What You’ll Do
- Partner directly with the CEO on strategic communications, partnerships, and high-priority projects.
- Craft and manage executive communications — from investor decks and press materials to keynote scripts and thought-leadership posts.
- Drive marketing and brand strategy, including content calendars, social media presence, and digital storytelling.
- Lead internal and external communications to ensure consistent, compelling messaging across teams and channels.
- Manage cross-functional projects that span business development, operations, and marketing.
- Prepare briefing notes, research insights, and outreach strategies for media, investors, and partners.
- Identify opportunities for visibility — conferences, awards, panels, podcasts, and PR moments.
What We’re Looking For
- 5–10 years of experience in communications, marketing, or strategy (ideally in a fast-paced tech or startup environment).
- Exceptional writing and storytelling skills — you can translate complex ideas into crisp, inspiring narratives.
- Strategic mindset with a bias for execution — you can see the big picture and still manage the details.
- Experience managing multiple priorities across leadership, investors, and external partners.
- Strong familiarity with digital tools (Google Workspace, Canva, LinkedIn, HubSpot, or Salesforce).
- Someone confident, proactive, and emotionally intelligent — the kind of person who makes things happen before being asked.
Why You’ll Love It Here
- Work directly with the CEO on initiatives that shape the company’s trajectory.
- Be part of a category-defining company at the intersection of AI and Higher Education.
- Grow in a high-impact role that blends strategy, communication, and leadership.
- Competitive salary, stock options, and a culture built on trust, autonomy, and creativity.
