Job summary

Credit Karma's Corporate Strategy team seeks a Staff Associate embedded in Personal Loans to partner with the General Manager and leadership, driving strategic projects and translating analysis into decisions. You will understand the personal loans marketplace, lending partners, and macroeconomic landscape to shape the business direction.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of total work experience with 2+ years in management consulting, investment banking, corporate strategy, business operations or a related analytical role (MBA preferred)
• Strong ability to analyze problems and identify key drivers
• Ability to synthesize information and present a concise executive perspective
• Executive presence with ability to present and debate recommendations with management
• Comfort operating in ambiguous environments and driving cross-functional projects

Responsibilities

• Serve as thought partner to the General Manager of Personal Loans to drive data-driven decisions and strategic agenda
• Lead stratified projects from framing to execution and alignment, moving the business forward
• Lead annual and long-range planning for the Personal Loans vertical
• Identify growth opportunities including partnerships and product adjacencies
• Stay current with lending landscape and translate insights into business implications
• Coordinate cross-functional Personal Loans Core Team and establish KPIs/dashboards
• Deliver presentations and communications grounded in data to leadership
• Collaborate with Product, Business Development, Marketing, Data Science, Finance and Engineering
