Rockstar is on the lookout for a talented Strategy Associate who’ll play a key role in shaping how our Publishing teams make decisions, assess results, and uncover new opportunities for impact. T his is a full-time, in-office position based out of Rockstar’s NYC headquarters in Downtown Manhattan.

WHAT WE DO

• The Live Service Planning & Strategy team ensures alignment and clarity for every stage of our titles’ lifecycle, from roadmap planning to feature and marketing decisions.
• We are a collaborative multidisciplinary group that work s across different Game and Publishing teams to facilitate decision - making .
• The team is responsible for connecting the dots between goals, plans, and outcomes and benchmarking the impact of our decisions to inform future plans .

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist with planning and organizing cross - functional syncs focused on aligning strateg ic prior ities with plans .
• Help drive alignment between publishing plans and business goals by preparing concise briefs and providing timely strategic analysis that support s decision-making .
• Work with the Strategy team to compile insights from var ious sources , synthesize results , and identify gaps and opportunities .
• Monitor and t rack t rends in the gaming, entertainment, media , and technology landscapes to identify opportunities and business implications.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders across C orporate D evelopment, R esearch and A nalytics , and M arketing to gather and clarify goal-setting requirements .
• T ranslate requirements into plans that can t rack and assess the outcomes and impact on organizational goals and decisions .
• Become a subject matter expert of our games and brand .
• Support the discovery, research, planning, coordination , and communication of daily tasks and long - term projects for the S trategy team and related departments.
• Assist the S enior M anager with the creation of reports and presentations that provide senior stakeholders insight into outcomes and impact on key performance areas and metrics .

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing journalism or strategy. MBA or o ther G ra d uate degree preferred.
• 2 – 3 years of experience in strategy, consulting, research, analytical , or similar roles that involve breaking down complexity and crafting actionable insights.
• Gamer who plays and / or is up-to-date with major console , PC , and mobile releases.
• Familiarity with major video game and entertainment industry business models and products (subscription, free-to-play, season passes).
• Familiarity with tools like Excel / Google Sheets , Tableau, and PowerPoint / Slides .
• Experience supporting dynamic, fast-paced teams.

The pay range for this position in New York State (inclusive of New York City) at the start of employment is expected to be between the range below* per year. However, base pay offered is based on market location, and may vary further depending on individualized factors for job candidates, such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations. Subject to those same considerations, the total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a bonus and/or equity awards, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits. $75,500 — $117,400 USD
