Repligen is a global bioprocessing company seeking a Strategy Analyst/Associate to support the annual Strategic Planning process and cross-functional initiatives across geographies. You will perform market research, build financial models, and contribute to inorganic initiatives including M&A and partnerships.

The role emphasizes data synthesis, compelling presentations for senior management, and rigorous business-case development.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in STEM; advanced degree preferred.
  • 2–3 years of experience in strategy consulting or corporate strategy, preferably within the pharmaceutical, medical device, life science tools, or similar industry.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strong ability to structure complex business problems and develop data-driven solutions.
  • Track record of executing primary market research and synthesizing findings independently. Strong experience with secondary market research including competitive intelligence and market intelligence.
  • Highly advanced capabilities in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel are required. Proficiency and demonstrated practical implementation of AI highly desirable.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas in a clear, concise, and professional manner.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize appropriately.
  • Intellectual curiosity with respect to both technology and business
  • Proactive mindset, attention to detail, and comfort with ambiguity
  • Remote work will be considered

  • Primary Research: Execute primary market research to inform strategy, assess market opportunities, and support new product planning.
  • Secondary Research: Collect insights from a variety of sources for competitive and market intelligence.
  • Data & Insights: Collect, analyze, and synthesize complex quantitative and qualitative data to generate actionable insights and support strategic recommendations.
  • Communication: Prepare compelling presentations and reports for senior management and cross-functional teams, clearly articulating key findings, opportunities, and strategic options.
  • Business Case Development: Build financial models and business cases to assess the feasibility and potential impact of strategic projects, including mergers, acquisitions, and new product launches.
  • Project Support: Assist in the planning and execution of strategic projects across various functions, such as R&D, commercial, and operations. Partner with stakeholders across the organization to gather input, ensure alignment, and drive the execution of strategic plans.
  • Inorganic: Support diligence projects, including primary and secondary research, and synthesize/present findings and their potential impacts on the deal for key stakeholders.

The Strategy & Business Development group at Repligen leads the development and execution of global corporate strategy. We have an ambitious strategic plan to double the size of our organization in the medium term, which involves rapid organic growth while remaining active in M&A, licensing, equity investing, and other partnerships.

We are seeking a Strategy Analyst/Associate to support the annual Strategic Planning process. This role will also contribute to critical strategic initiatives across our business units across all functions and geographies. In addition, the role will support inorganic initiatives and diligence, including M&A, equity investments, and other partnerships.

The estimated base salary range for this role, based in the United States of America is $128,000 - $185,000. Compensation decisions are dependent on several factors including, but not limited to an individual's qualifications, location, internal equity, and alignment with market data. Additionally, employees are eligible to participate in one of our variable cash programs (bonus or commission) and eligible roles may receive equity as part of the compensation package. We offer a wide range of benefits such as paid time off, health/dental/vision, retirement benefits and flexible spending accounts.
