Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, criminal justice, legal studies, psychology, sociology, or a related field.
• Five years of progressively responsible experience in employee relations, workplace investigations, compliance investigations, human resources, or a closely related area.
• Demonstrated experience independently conducting workplace or administrative investigations, including investigative planning, interviewing, evidence analysis, credibility and investigative assessment, and written findings.
• Familiarity with trauma-informed interviewing practices and investigations involving sensitive or emotionally complex allegations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct impartial workplace investigations involving misconduct, policy violations, and related matters.
• Manage investigations from referral through completion, defining scope and gathering evidence.
• Conduct trauma-informed, neutral interviews with participants and witnesses.
• Review records and evidence including emails, personnel files, policies, timekeeping, and video footage.
• Evaluate relevance, reliability, and credibility; distinguish facts from allegations.
• Prepare final, well-supported investigation reports with findings.
• Coordinate with HR leadership and institutional partners as needed.
