Job summary

Perdue Foods in Cromwell, KY is seeking a Workforce Optimization Scheduler to develop and manage labor schedules using UKG Advanced Scheduler, aligning staffing with production needs and equipment availability. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 2–3+ years in manufacturing operations, production planning, or workforce scheduling.
• Proficiency with UKG Scheduler or equivalent WFM system.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems (SAP, Oracle).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Analytical capability to support operational efficiency.
• Expertise in production scheduling and workforce management.
• Knowledge of USDA, FDA, HACCP, OSHA, and labor regulation.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain daily, weekly, and long-term labor schedules aligned with production requirements.
• Optimize workforce capacity by aligning staffing with real-time production needs and equipment availability.
• Maintain cross-functional alignment between Production, Supply, Maintenance, Logistics, and HR.
• Manage UKG Advanced Scheduler components and integrate scheduling data with ERP/MRP platforms (SAP, Oracle).
• Develop and analyze labor KPIs, workforce trends, and seasonal needs.
• Ensure scheduling complies with USDA, OSHA, FDA, HACCP, and sanitation requirements.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to increase operational efficiency and reduce waste.
