Equus Workforce Solutions in New Orleans seeks a proven leader to oversee the delivery of workforce services under the WIOA contract. You will guide the team, ensure performance targets are met, and maintain compliant relationships with funders, employers, and partners.

This role requires five years in workforce development, supervisory experience, budgeting, and strong communication. The position is based in Louisiana with travel as needed.

Formación

• Five years of experience in workforce development or business (marketing, public relations, or economic development).
• Four years of supervisory experience.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred in business, public relations, marketing, human resources, or related field.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel & Word applications.
• Excellent communication skills (must speak, read, and write in English).
• Valid Louisiana driver’s license – travel to centers, employers, and events is expected.

Responsabilidades

• Leads the team with clear direction, transparency and a sense of purpose.
• Sets expectations, ensures accountability, and addresses HR concerns.
• Manages successful implementation of the welfare/workforce services contract and ensures targets are met.
• Maintains positive relationships with funders, employers, and workforce partners.
• Forecasts performance, records data accurately, and manages quality and reporting.
