Job summary

Equus Workforce Solutions seeks an experienced senior operations leader to steer program delivery across workforce development initiatives. You will set strategy, foster an inclusive culture, and ensure exceptional customer experience while aligning with funders and Equus objectives.

Responsibilities include managing budgets, supervising multiple departments, building partnerships with funders and employers, and leading business development. Travel may be required to meet program needs.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in Business Administration, Organizational Development, Project Management, or closely related field.
• Minimum 5 years of operational leadership experience at a management level.
• Experience managing multiple departments/functions with direct oversight to executives or a board.
• Fiscal/financial management experience and oversight of grants or contracts.
• Experience providing operational oversight in workforce development or human services is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example through servant leadership and promote mission, vision, values, and brand.
• Develop and maintain relationships with funders, staff, partners and employers.
• Set strategy for successful operations considering funder, local area and organizational needs.
• Ensure compliance to meet contractual expectations and optimize efficiency.
• Forecast spending and manage budgets to align with funder expectations.
• Oversee hiring, onboarding and training of team members.
• Set SMART goals for teams aligned with contract, funder and Equus objectives.
• Participate in business development activities, including contract rebid and new opportunities.
