Job summary

Commonwealth of Massachusetts is seeking a Programs Coordinator Specialist to support the Reemployment Services and Eligibility Assessment (RESEA) and other workforce initiatives. You will coordinate daily program activities, monitor performance, ensure compliance with federal and state requirements, and liaise with Career Centers and partner agencies.

Qualifications

• Two years of professional program management or administration experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, public administration, or a related field may substitute for the required experience.
• Ability to coordinate across MDCS divisions and external partners; monitor compliance and performance.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day administration of RESEA and other workforce initiatives.
• Monitor program activities, deliverables, timelines, and grant requirements.
• Develop, review, and maintain program guidance, procedures, and desk guides.
• Analyze performance data, identify trends, and report findings for improvements.
• Communicate with Career Centers, Workforce Boards, and partners to ensure consistent program interpretation.
• Research workforce trends and assist with policy recommendations and strategic initiatives.
• Assist with planning, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of grants and pilots.
• Organize meetings, webinars, and training; prepare agendas and summaries.
• Collaborate with internal MDCS programs to support integrated service delivery.
• Serve as liaison with boards, centers, employers, and educational partners.
• Support development and testing of workforce information systems and CRM tools.
• Monitor compliance through data analysis and file reviews; recommend corrective actions.
• Support strategic planning and modernization initiatives across the workforce system.
• Prepare reports and communications for leadership and external stakeholders.
• Utilize workforce systems and analytics tools for program management.
