Job summary

AES Corporation is seeking a seasoned Workforce Planning Analyst to lead forecasting, budgeting, and data-driven people analytics across multiple business units in the United States. You will partner with Finance, HR, and leadership to align workforce strategy with business goals.

The role requires strong Excel, budgeting, and data visualization skills (Power BI or Tableau), and the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights for executives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, HR, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in workforce planning, FP&A, or HR analytics.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting, workforce modeling, and data analysis.
• Advanced Excel skills with financial modeling.
• Experience with Power BI or Tableau.
• Ability to present insights to senior leaders and manage stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead workforce planning across multiple business units and functions.
• Develop forecasts, scenario models, and capacity plans.
• Analyze headcount trends, labor costs, and people-related expenses.
• Support annual workforce planning and budgeting with Finance and HR.
• Build executive-ready dashboards and reports.
• Collaborate with HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition, Payroll, and Finance.
• Monitor workforce indicators and provide proactive recommendations.
• Ensure data accuracy and confidentiality.
