Job summary

AES Corporation in Arlington is seeking a Senior FP&A Data Analyst to turn complex financial and operational data into actionable insights. You will work at the intersection of finance, data analytics, and business strategy, building Power BI models and collaborating across finance, operations, and leadership to explain variances and guide decisions.

You will develop budgeting and forecasting tools, ensure data integrity, and drive efficiency with automation and analytics in a global energy

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, MIS, Data Analytics, Economics or related field.
• Experience with budgeting and forecasting systems and data governance.
• Strong Excel modeling and financial analysis skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and enhance Power BI models, dashboards, and reporting solutions.
• Design and develop new Power BI reporting for finance, operations, and leadership.
• Support budgeting and forecasting data integrity across a multi-billion dollar business.
• Partner with FP&A to implement data-driven process improvements.
• Collaborate to strengthen data quality, governance and stewardship.
