Job summary

Nova Southwestern University is seeking a seasoned workforce planning leader to establish and manage enterprise capacity planning. The role translates enrollment and demand into staffing, roles, and labor costs while partnering with Finance and leaders to forecast long-range workforce needs.

Responsibilities include developing dashboards and executive-level materials, improving processes, and guiding governance for workforce initiatives.

Qualifications

Knowledge of workforce planning principles, headcount forecasting, scenario modeling, and risk analysis.
Understanding of how workforce planning supports strategy, budgets, and goals.
Working knowledge of HR data elements (positions, headcount, FTEs, vacancies, turnover).
Familiarity with HRIS platforms and reporting tools.
Understanding of data privacy and ethical handling of information.
Basic knowledge of operating budgets and labor cost drivers.

Responsibilities

Designs and implements enterprise workforce- and capacity-planning framework.
Translates forecasts into staffing requirements, role mix, and labor costs.
Conducts headcount, vacancies, turnover, and talent pipeline analyses.
Assesses productivity, roles, workflows, and future capability needs.
Partners with Finance to improve headcount budgeting and long-range projections.
Develops executive dashboards, reports, and presentations for leaders.
