Job summary

Goodwill Great Lakes is seeking a Manager Workforce Development to oversee workforce training and case management at Naval Station Great Lakes. You will lead staff, manage budgets, and drive initiatives spanning 1–2 years, creating scalable systems and programs.

The role focuses on talent development, project management, and strong collaboration across departments to achieve organizational goals while maintaining compliance and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree or experience equivalency required.
• Minimum 3 years' managerial experience (or 7 years with alternative path).
• Ability to communicate using sign language preferred.
• Proven leadership and staff development capabilities.
• Strong communication, budgeting, and program management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop Talent: manage staff structure, recruit and train.
• Plan and manage projects of low to moderate complexity within the department.
• Collaborate across teams to support case management and training.
• Monitor case load distribution, attendance tracking, and documentation.
• Coordinate training content and participant orientations.
• Ensure confidentiality and compliance with policies.
