Arizona Department of Economic Security (DES) seeks a Workforce Development Manager to lead the Division of Developmental Disabilities workforce initiatives. The role emphasizes supervising the workforce team, developing the WFDP, and collaborating with AHCCCS and other partners to strengthen direct care workers and program effectiveness.

The position requires advanced degree in business/health, 3–5 years of supervisory experience, and strong data and policy skills, with a focus on provider

Qualifications

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in business or health-related discipline.
• 3–5 years of supervisory/management experience.
• Provider development experience in healthcare settings, managed care, or Medicaid.
• Ability to lead and collaborate with multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of the Workforce Development Unit.
• Supervise staff and conduct annual reviews.
• Develop and implement the Division's WFDP and provide tools to vendors.
• Collaborate with AHCCCS and Managed Care Organizations on statewide initiatives.
• Lead special projects and provide guidance to vendors.
