Job summary

State of Oklahoma, Sapulpa, OK, is seeking a Workforce Center Manager to lead OESC Workforce Center operations and supervise staff. You will coordinate services for job seekers, employers, and veterans while maintaining compliance with applicable laws.

The role requires strong leadership, program management, and collaboration with community partners to enhance employment opportunities across the centers.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree with 1 year of professional supervisory/managerial experience; orBachelor’s degree with 2 years of professional supervisory/managerial experience; orAn equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Computer skills to proficiently use standard software (Microsoft Office, Internet) and learn other software as needed.
  • Must be able to lift, carry and move objects up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee Workforce Center operations and staff to ensure compliance with laws and regulations.
  • Supervise professional and support staff, manage work schedules, timesheets and performance evaluations.
  • Develop collaborative relationships with community agencies, employers, and funders.
  • Coordinate with One-Stop Operators on center operations and service delivery.
  • Maintain safety and security protocols within workforce centers.
