Job summary

The State of Oklahoma seeks a Workforce Center Manager for the Northern Region in Sapulpa. You will provide leadership to the Workforce Center, ensuring compliance with laws, coordinating services, and guiding staff to deliver high‑quality employment and unemployment insurance support.

The role emphasizes collaboration with community partners, employers, and One‑Stop Operators, plus ongoing staff development and safety oversight. Strong Office skills and supervisory experience are essential.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree with supervisory experience required.
  • Bachelor’s degree with supervisory experience required.
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience allowed.
  • Proficient in MS Office software.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee Workforce Center operations ensuring compliance with laws and regulations.
  • Lead staff including scheduling, performance reviews, and development.
  • Coordinate with One-Stop Operators and partners for seamless service delivery.
  • Develop community and employer partnerships to expand employment opportunities.
  • Plan center meetings and staff training to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Maintain safety and security protocols within the workforce centers.
