Job summary

WA River Protection Solutions seeks a detail-oriented Work Control Planner to lead maintenance planning, prioritizing work orders and ensuring safety compliance. You will document activities in the CMMS, perform hazard analyses, and coordinate field walkdowns with crews and SMEs to integrate safety controls.

The role emphasizes process improvements and accurate material planning in support of reliable operations.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree plus 5 years of relevant experience.
• Knowledge of work control processes and ability to implement improvements.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication with a keen customer service orientation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Develop, prioritize, and manage work orders aligning with operational priorities and safety requirements.
• Document and track work orders in the maintenance management system to ensure efficiency and compliance.
• Ensure all maintenance activities comply with relevant safety standards, codes, and regulations.
• Lead hazard analyses and incorporate hazard controls into work plans; conduct field walkdowns to identify hazards.
• Identify materials needed and manage bills of material in eBOMS for timely availability.
• Maintain detailed CMMS status and participate in routine status meetings.
• Obtain drawings, engineering change notices, and permits for work activities.
• Develop detailed work package instructions and create simple/complex work instructions.
• Conduct post-job reviews and input lessons learned into CMMS to improve planning.
• Coordinate PFWR requests and assist in validating work requests.
