Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in business or related discipline or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in lumber industry.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel, Word and Outlook.
• Working knowledge of lumber math and business math.
• Working knowledge of commodity market conditions and dynamics.
• Working knowledge of lumber and panel grade rules.

Responsibilities

• Identifies material sources relative to facility needs.
• Develops relationships with key suppliers and sales management to drive cash and program business.
• Procures products meeting quality, service, and price requirements.
• Provides current market levels and predicts future market direction.
• Maintains understanding of facility processes and products.
