Birdon America Inc. seeks a seasoned WCC Program Manager to lead the Waterways Commerce Cutter program, interfacing with the U.S. Coast Guard and cross-functional teams to ensure scope, cost, and schedule adherence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, program management, operations, or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of progressive program or project management experience in shipbuilding, defense, or regulated environments.
• Strong leadership of cross-functional teams and executive communication.
• PMP certification or equivalent (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Lead the Integrated Program Team and establish clear roles, responsibilities, authorities, and cadences across all program functions.
• Develop and maintain the program strategy, management plans, and schedules.
• Align leaders to baselines, commitments, and performance expectations.
• Chair program reviews, maintain action/risk/decision logs through closure.
• Provide direction and development opportunities to program personnel.
• Coordinate with Contracts to develop contract strategies and manage changes.
• Drive integration of scope, schedule, cost, and technical performance.
• Ensure readiness reviews and customer briefings are conducted and documented.
