Job summary

Star-Lumber- is seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to strategically run our Oklahoma City facility. You will direct receiving, warehousing, distribution, and maintenance, ensuring safety and OSHA compliance while leading a focused team to maximize efficiency and accuracy.

You will maintain records, analyze data to identify process gaps, and collaborate with HR on staffing, training, and motivation. This full-time role requires strong leadership and a hands-on approach.

Qualifications

• 5+ years warehouse management experience.
• Excellent understanding of warehouse procedures.
• Proficient knowledge of inventory and controls.
• Ability to implement process improvements.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse KPIs.
• Ability to analyze data to identify process issues.
• Proficient with computer software including Microsoft Office and learn internal systems.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills, problem-solving ability.
• Understanding of OSHA standards.
• Ability to operate a forklift.
• Possess a valid driver's license.
• Bilingual English/Spanish and DOT knowledge are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Strategically manage the warehouse in compliance with policies and vision.
• Direct all receiving, warehousing, distribution, and maintenance operations.
• Ensure effective, safe operations by implementing policies and procedures.
• Ensure safe use of warehouse equipment.
• Ensure staff safety and OSHA compliance.
• Manage staff performance, safety, and productivity.
• Maintain documentation and records of warehouse activities.
• Track fleet condition and location.
• Produce reports and statistics regularly.
• Collaborate with Human Resources to recruit, orient, train, and motivate employees.
• Work cross-functionally with other departments on inventory, scheduling, and dispatch.
• Collaborate with leadership to set warehouse and team goals.
