Job summary

Star Lumber is hiring a Lumber Drive/Warehouse Associate at the Oklahoma City Yard. This role combines outdoor work with hands-on loading, unloading, and customer assistance, requiring careful safety practices and teamwork.

You'll operate a forklift, pull orders, restock inventory, and maintain a clean, safe workspace while delivering excellent service in all weather conditions. The company offers competitive pay and benefits and promotes from within.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift 75 lbs repetitively and 100 lbs in a team lift.
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Reliable transportation to and from the yard.
• Adherence to safety and PPE requirements.

Responsibilities Include:

• Operate forklift to load and unload lumber other building materials
• Assist customers by hand-loading and unloading materials

• Work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Maintain a clean and safe warehouse and yard
• Follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements

Requirements

• 18 years or older
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to lift 75 lbs. repetitively/100 lbs. in a team lift
• Adherence to all Safety and PPE requirements
• Comfortable working in an outdoor environment (all weather conditions)

Preferred Experience:

• Previous warehouse or distribution center experience
• Knowledge of lumber and building materials
• Forklift experience
