Job summary

CBRE seeks a Senior Vice President in the VAS space to drive growth strategies for local or regional appraisal practice and oversee valuation of land, property, and businesses. The role sits within the Valuation function and requires deep knowledge of appraisal standards and market dynamics.

The candidate will review data on inventories, present findings to senior management, and lead strategic programs affecting revenue and profitability across CBRE regions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) with 12 years of commercial appraisal experience required.
• Master's degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• General State Certification or License in at least one state and MAI designation required.

Responsibilities

• Set the regional appraisal growth strategy by quantifying the market size, competitors, and position.
• Identify the value of a property for estimate and study the appraisal request and project scope to define business solutions.
• Review data on inventory of comparable properties, sales and listings, vacancies, and more.
• Follow the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice, keeping information confidential.
• Communicate strategy to senior management and supply regular reports on progress and metrics.
